Prevent Over Indulgence this Christmas

Prevent Over Indulgence this Christmas

Likely to over indulgence over Christmas? Too many rich foods that leave you feeling bloated and burpy into the new year? Whilst moderation is the most important thing to remember at this time of year, there are supplements you can use to make the richer foods go down more comfortably. If you’re prone to indigestion or reflux, remember to eat slowly and chew thoroughly. Avoid drinking liquids such as water or juice 10mins before or 30mins after food to ensure a strong concentration of digestive enzymes. Taking a supplement such as Flordis Iberogast is very useful for both prevention and treatment of reflux and bloating. If you have trouble digesting your food well, consider a digestive enzyme taken at the end of a meal to assist with breakdown of food. This is a great product to use if you’re prone to flatulence too. If too much lactose causes a problem for you, use Lacteeze. Taken at the start of a meal containing dairy products, it can assist with the breakdown of lactose to help in the prevention of bloating and flatulence. Whilst alcohol moderation is important, if you are going to have a few drinks, ensure you’re drinking plenty of water and take a good quality St Mary’s Thistle supplement before and after to help prevent a headache the next day.
Happy Christmas and New Year to our customers and readers, we look forward to continuing to help you achieve your maximum state of health and vitality throughout 2013!
